Off-the-shoulder and off-the-road.
Hitting Joshua Tree on a sunset gives you a very special feeling. Leaving the car by the roadside, walking off into the desert, surrounded by the iconic desert plants and cacti, seen in so many movies, fashion editorials and music videos – your imagination starts creating your own story almost immediately.
And while I prefer keeping the details of my own movie to myself, I’m happy to share with you my outfit choice of the day.
As you probably know, I love strong silhouettes and I love mixing and balancing things while keeping everything pretty simple and minimal. Playing with the current trends of off-the-shoulder blouse and artistically-reconstructed denim resulted in a clean 70s-inspired look, which if I had to come up with a name for, I’d call it a "desert modernist chic”.
